Pair Feuillet Perfum Bottles

This is a pair of perfume / dresser bottles made by one of the Paris makers called Feuillet around 1837. Each has a nice shape to it and is nicely handpainted with a floral arrangement on the back, one on each side and a nice scene of a bird sitting on a branch on the front. Each scene is surrounded by a superb raised gold trim of flowers and scroll work on a turquoise blue ground color that is mottled which adds to the elegance of this pair. Each stopper has a floral arrangement painted on the top surrounded by the same gilding and ground color. The pieces are in perfect condition which is always a bonus :) One of them is marked underneath with MLD in script then feuillet and 1837 which I am assuming is the year they were made. Nice to have an exact date since that is highly unusual! The bottle and stopper are 5.5 inches tall, 3.875 inches wide and 2.75 inches deep. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $799
