Superb Floral Scene Plate

This is a superb plate made by one of the top Paris region makers - most likely Schoelcher - in the early 19th century. It has a really nice floral arrangement inside a basket sitting in a landscape surrounding in the center, gold trim around the well of the plate with the rim having a superb griffon design to it as well as urns surrounded by more gold trim. Looks very stunning on display! The plate is in superb condition with a tiny bit of wear but about as good a condition as one could wish for. The underside rim even has been gilded - a sure sign of the best quality! It is marked underneath with the red mark which has been all but scratched off - not sure why. I am certain is was made by Schoelcher as the quality is jusut top notch! The plate is 1.25 inches tall and 9.25 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
