Green & Gold Trim Floral Plate #1

This is a plate made by one of the Paris makers around 1800. It is hand painted with a superb gold trim along the edge and a green band flanked by two thing gold bands covering the rest of the rim. The green color is superb and reminds me a bit of the apple green on Worcester plates that one rarely sees. The center of the plate has a nicely painted floral arrangement to it including different blossoms and leaves. Not sure which makes might have done it but definitely ones of the better French ones from the Paris region. The plate is in great condition with a couple minorwhite spots in the green trim, some wear to the gilding on the very edge and some very minor use marks. Minor firing flaws to the foot ring from when it was made as well as a tiny black firing spot to the white area of the front. It displays very nicely! As is the norm the piece is unmarked except for an incised line as shown typical of this region and period. The plate is 1.125 inches tall and just a touch over 9.25 inches in diameter.
