Large Chinoiserie Scene Charger

This is a larger serving dish / wall plate made by one of the Paris makers in the early 19th century. It is hand painted with an unusual scene in the center of an Asian gentleman waling in a landscape surrounding. The scene is all done in blue tones with gold highlights and is really quite nice. The gentleman is wearing a loose outfit and holding a sun umbrella in his right hand I think. The rim of the bowl has a gold trim to it. The piece is in great condition with some wear to the gilding along the edge. As is the norm the piece is unmarked except for some incised marks that are hard to make out and an incised number 54. The plate is 2 inches tall and 13.25 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
