Paris Roman Scene Plate

This is a nice plate made by one of the Paris region makers and decorated by Feuillet around 1820. It is nicely handpainted with a large scene in the center including a farmer (I think) by a rock wall with some mountains in the background. The rim has lots of nice gilding. The plate is in great condition with a little wear but it displays superbly The worst wear is to the first part of the writing which states Homme (That word is hard to make out) des campages de Rome and to the left side of his hair. The piece is marked with the greeen Feuillet in script as shown and a script D incised. The plate is 1.125 inches tall and 9.375 inches in diameter.
