Large Scenic Coffee Pot

This is a large coffee pot made by one of the Paris makers around the early 19th century. It has a gold mark to the underside likely from one of the decorating studios operating in the area but I cannot make it out. The pot is nicely hand painted with a large and colorful scene to the front going into the sides inclduing a violinist standing on top of a barrel with a couple dancing in a landscape surrounding. The scene and colors remind me a bit of Ludwigsburg pieces. More colorful than many Paris pieces I have come across. Nice gold trim to the top and bottom as well as the lid, spout and handle. The pot and lid are about 10 inches tall, 6.375 inches from handle to spout and 5 inches in diameter. They are in great condition with a minor touch of gold wear, a tiny rough spot to the top edge of the pot from what looks to be a popped glaze bubble, one of the points holding the lid in place is missing and the finial might ahve been reglued though I am unsure of that. They display perfectly! Please email me for more information or other pictures.
