Paris Nice Scenic Cup & Saucer #1

For sale is a great cup and saucer made by one of the Paris makers around 1800. The saucer has a nicely painted landscape scene all around including buildings and some trees with a gold ring around the well, a little gold medallion in the center and a gold trim around the edge. The cup has a superbly hand painted scene all around including two people, a ruin and a nice landscape surrounding with gold trim to the bottom edge, the handle and the top rim, and the entire inside wall as shown. The scenes are of a good quality and it being all around makes it a very decorative piece! The set is in superb condition with the tiniest of wear to the gilding but about as nice as one could hope for! There is a manufacturing flaw to the inside of the cup that was gilded over - tried to show it in one of the pics! The set is unmarked which is common for Paris makers around that time. The cup is 2.125 inches tall and 2.25 inches in diameter. The saucer is 0.875 inches tall and 4.625 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $349
