Scenic Vase w/ Ship

This is a nice vase made by one of the Paris region makers in the early to mid 19th century. It is an unusual shape with a flared and wavy opening up top but has the usual superbly hand painted scene all around the main body with a gilded foot and a gold trim along the top edge. The scene includes a large ship, a smaller boat as well as the usual building in a landscape surrounding. The vase is in great condition with wear to the gilding as well as a small chip to the bottom edge and a large firing flaw that looks like a chip but was gilded over when made originally so it's from when the piece was made. Still looks amazing and is definitely unusual in terms of shape compared to others from this region and period. The vase is unmarked except for an incised letter V underneath which is normal for pieces from this region and period. The piece is 8.125 inches tall with a diameter around the widest part of about 3.625 inches. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
