Superb Single Cup

This is a really nice cup made by one of the Paris makers in the early 19th century. The piece is hand painted with designs quite typical for this period and region but an unusually nice version! There is a design all around with gilding to the bottom and top edge, the handle is fully gilded as is most of the inside. Nice gold trim with a tooled design in a shield shape to the front. The handle shape is quite nice. The cup is in great condition with just some wear to the gilding mainly to the handle and inside as shown in the pictures. Displays nicely and looks amazing! The piece is unmarked except for an incised letter as shown which is common for Paris makers around that time. The cup is 3.25 inches tall (plus the handle stick up another 0.875 inches) and 3.125 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
