Pearlware Cup #5

This is a Pearlware teabowl and saucer with swags of flowers. Perhaps this was made by a Staffordshire potter imitating New Hall. Dating to around 1790, it has a wonderfully symmetrical pattern painted by a sure hand in puce, purple, green, red, black and yellow, and is in excellent condition with slight crazing to the glaze. This is a piece owned by a good friend of mine. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $195
