Framed Persian Tile #1

This is really nice framed tile that I have not much of a clue on. It appears to be made of some sort of faience or ceramic material. I bought it because it looked interesting to me. I tried to do some research but that didn't help too much. I did find similar tiles that some claimed were from the mid 19th century and others as far back as the mid 18th century. All stated Qajar period but that covers a long period of time. I am sure it is a true antique and the mid 19th century dating looks better to me seeing the tile in erpson but I am not an expert at all. it appears to be Persian and possibly from Iran. The style seems to be Iznik with an Middle Eastern woman, possibly a goddess , holding a cup in one hand and a carafe in the other surrounded by flowers. The painted parts are in relief and it is all hand painted and really quite nice. Like I said - I am not an expert at all on this peice but the quality is really ncie and it has some good age to it. The tile is in great condition with some crazing which seems to be normal on these pieces. It is 6.125 inches wide, 8.375 inches tall and about 0.625 inches thick. It is applied to a cloth backing so I cannot access the back. Nicely framed with a silver colored frame with black sides. The frame is 11.875 inches wide, 13.5 inches tall and 1.625 inches thick. The frame is in good condition with some minor wear. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
