Prague Figurine

This is a figurine made by Prague around 1840. It is of a nude man covered by grape vines including leaves and grapes. I would guess he is supoosed to be Bacchus the god of wine :) It is well modeled and pretty well painted. Nice gilded base adds to the piece. The figure is in good condition with just two small chips to the leaves and one or two vines also have chips. It is marked underneath with the impressed P mark. The piece is 4.75 inches tall and the base is 1.875 inches in diameter. A rare piece by one of the smaller makers in the porcelain world. Please email me for more information or other pictures. Prag
