Prag Figual Cow Butter Dish

This is a fun figural butter dish in the form of a cow made by Prague around the mid 19th century. Prag porcelain is not easy to find and I ahve never seen this butter dish before. A very well modeled and hand painted piece! The top part is made of the upper body of the cow with the head to the side as if cleanign itself with her tongue. The bottom hal is the lower half of her body with the feet under her and there is even an udder, Just a really fun dish. The hand pained detail is quite nice espcially in the face. The figure is in great condition with one horn chipped at the top and some expected wear but it displays superbly and won't be something you'll find again anytime soon if ever. The bottom part is marked underneath with the impressed Prag mark as shown. A little hard to see but with a light shining through it becomes clearer. The figurine is 4.75 inches tall, 8.375 inhces long and 4.75 inches deep. A rare piece by one of the smaller makers in the porcelain world. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
