Proskau Faience Plate

This is a very nice faience plate made by Proskau around 1768. Proskau is in the Silesia region of Europe and was active from about 1763 until about 1853. The plate is nicely molded and handpainted with flower garlands around the rim, black dentil trim to the edge and a nice large floral arrangement in the center. Excellent quality painting for faience! The plate is in great condition with some glaze lines normal to early pieces and possibly one hairline though I am unsure and the piece still rings like a bell so they are likely closely matching glaze lines! The plate is marked with the puce P underneath with another mark under that though it is hard to figure that one out. The plate is 1.125 inches tall and has a diameter of 9.25 inches.
