Rauenstein Doll / Child Cup #2

This is a second small cup and saucer from one of their famous doll / child sets made by Rauenstein in first half of the 19th century - probably close to 1850. The piece is hand painted with the famous under glaze blue strawflower design and the paste has the ribbed design to it quite typical for Thuringia area makers. Both pieces are marked underneath with the R-n mark as shown. The saucer is in perfect condition but the cup has suffered a bit over time. It has a forked hairline to the side as shown and a huge brown firing flaw - biggest one I have ever seen. The cup is still solid and could be used if need be. The cup is 1.25 inches tall and 1.75 inches in diameter. The saucer is 0.875 inches tall and 3.25 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or photos.
