Richard Klemm Birds of Paradise Dinner Plate

This is a rare dinner plate made by Richard Klemm between 1888 and 1916. It is hand painted with a scene including birds of paradise in a landscape surrounding as well as insects around the rim and a nice gold trim. We have collected this pattern for many years and have been told that the painter who painted this pattern on both RK marked pieces and crossed swords marked pieces was a Hausmaler trained at Meissen. The plate is in great condition with some wear to the gold band around the edge and a tiny paint flake to the tip of a green leaf as shown. The plate is 1.375 inches tall and 9.625 inches in diameter. It's marked underneath with the RK under a crown mark with the word Dresden underneath. There is also a gold mark hiding the mark of the manufacturer of the blank plate underneath. I think it is for Hermann Ohme from the SIlesia region. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
