Richard Klemm Watering Can

This is a fun piece made by Richard Klemm around 1900. I always wanted to have a watering can but many are rather boring so when I came across this example I went for it! Not a large piece but that is what I also liked plus it is a nicely modeled example that is hand painted very nicely. It has a little hand painted scene of a couple in a landscape surrounding on either side with lots of fancy gold trim all around plus on top and a green ground trim towards the top with a gold design over it. Really nicely done! The piece is in superb condition with what looks to be a manufacturing flaw to the paste oin form of a burst bubble on the top edge as shown. Gilded in to hide it better. The can is 4.375 inches tall, 6.5 inches from spout to handle and 2 inches deep. Marked underneath with the RK under a crown mark with the word Dresden underneath as well as the word GERMANY as shown. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
