37 Piece Ridgways Set

This is a nice coffee set made around 1830 by Ridgway. The factory in Shelton was founded by Job Ridgway as an eartherware manufactory. When John & William Ridgway took over the factory around 1814 they started the production of porcelain. This would be the London shape but I don't know the name of the decoration. The set is marked only with the pattern number 2/724 in red. The decoration consists of a nice handpainted gold leaf and orange flower design. Quite decorative and elegant! It is made up of 37 pieces - 1 teapot (one small chip to underside of spout, a chip to the rim of the lid and some hairline cracks on the sides plus some staining to them and inside), 1 sugar with lid (small three way hairline to side), 1 creamer, 1 teapot stand, 11 saucers (7 very good, 4 with a hairline of not great importance), 8 cups (seven good ones and one with a hairline and some of a bit of staining to inside) and 12 small plates. As to the size of the pieces - the teapot is 5.25 inches tall, 4.5 inches wide and 9.25 inches long. The sugar is 5.5 inches tall, 4.5 inches wide and 8 inches long. The creamer is 4 inches tall, 3 inches wide and 5.125 inches long. The plates are 6.375 inches in diameter. The saucers are 5.5 inches in diameter. The teapot stand is 6.125 inches wide and 7.5 inches long. And the cups are 2.5 inches tall and 2.875 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
