Rosenthal Art Deco Inkwell

This is a nice inkwell with its matching blotter made by Rosenthal in the early 20th century. It is modeled in the Art Deco/Nouveau style of the period with a nice modern looking design in green and gold. The finial on the lid is my favorite part and reminds me of a cactus :) The handle on the blotter matches it nicely. The set is in perfect condition. The inkwell tray and underside of the blotter is marked underneath with the green Rosenthale mark with Selb-Bavaria underneath as shown in the pictures and an impressed K820 on the inkwell. There is also a gold signature Schmidt on the inkwell underneath which was the painter and the back of the base has the name H. Küster impressed who designed the piece. The blotter comes apart into three pieces with the handle being a porcelain screw that holds it all together - quite neat! The entire inkwell set is about 3.625 inches tall, 10.375 inches wide and 5 inches deep. The blotter is 2.875 inches tall, 5.25 inches long and 2 inches wide.
