Rosenthal Secunda Grey Sugar Dish

This is a porcelain lidded sugar dish made by Rosenthal in 1962 if I read the date code correctly. This form was designed by Raymond Loewy in about 1954 and is known as Form 2000 Secunda Grau (grey). A very mid century modern design! Great shape and the grey main body of the sugar bowl with the white intertior and lid make it look very elegant. The set is in great condition with a small ding near the top outside of the bowl. It is in the grey ground color and thus shows a touch of white as shown in the picture. It is small and could be colored in to hide it perfectly but needs to be mentioned. The bottom of the dish is marked with the green Rosenthal with Germany under it mark that should date to 1962. The lid is unmarked which is normal. The dish with its lid in place is 4.125 inches tall including the finial and the lid is 4 inches in diameter. The top opening of the sugar bowl is 3.5 inches in diameter. I have most of the rest of the set but the creamer is damaged so you'd have to get that somewhere else. Please email me for more information or photos.

Price is $39
