Copenhagen Huge Amazing Bird Scene Tureen

This is an amazing tureen made by Royal Copenhagen in the mid 20th century. Marked with the Julian Marie mark for using 18th century originals. I have never seen this design redone and it is on a huge piece! The tureen is round in shape and larger than any other I have ever owned. The edges have a basketweave design to the paste with a gold trim over that and another gold design along the foot of the bottom piece. The best part however are all those amazing hand painted bird scenes. The lid has four birds sitting on a branch with two of the scenes having a bird of a landscape to them. The superb finial is in the shape of a lemon with its stem and two leaves. The bottom piece has two large bird scenes in a landscape aurrounding as well as two single bird scenes to it. The larger scenes are amazing and have three birds in them. It does not come any better than this piece! The lid has a slot to fit a spoon handle as shown. Both pieces are marked with the three wavy blue lines mark in under glaze blue as well as the crown and Denmark with a line over the N. Also artist initials as well as the number 4065 and 1793 which is probably the year the design was originally made. The terrine is 11.5 inches tall including the lemon finial and 12.5 inches in diameter. This piece is incredible and it does not come better than this by this maker from this period.
