Flora Danica Cup & Saucer #2

This is a cup and saucer made by Royal Copenhagen in the 20th century. Sadly not an original 18th century set of their most famous service, the Flora Danica or Danish Flowers service which is one of the most famous services ever made. It is still in the hands of royalty even today. This cup and saucer is hand painted in the typical style of a gold pointy edge on the saucer with a some pink highlights and flowers as well as leaves with the cup having a nice large blue flower called Arabis petraea A faroensis Doland which I think stands for the Roman province of Arabia and the flower name but I cannot figure out which one that is. . A nice flower with little blue blossoms on long stems which I guess occurs in Denmark since it made it onto the cup. The set is in perfect condition and is marked underneath with the three wavy blue lines in under glaze blue as well as various other marks including painters marks as shown in the pictures. There is also the Latin name of the flower handwritten in black as is normal for the dishes. The saucer is 1.125 inches tall and 5.5 inches in diameter. The cup is just under 2.5 inches tall and 2.625 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
