Haendel Bust

This is a bust of Haendel made by Royal Vienna in 1849. Part of a series of 200 famous people they made into these little figures around that time. George Frideric Handel was a German-British Baroque composer who was born in 1685 and died in 1759. The bust is nicely modeled in unglazed biscuit porcelain that sits on a glazed base with a bit of gold trim to it. His name is written in gold in the front. The figurine is in superb condition with just a very minor touch of gold wear. The figure is 4.25 inches tall, 2.25 inches wide and 1.875 inches deep. It is marked underneath with the impressed beehive / shield mark, the year mark 849 as well as the impressed L. (I think) as shown. Please email me for more information or photos.

Price is $349
