Shakespeare Bust

This is a bust of William Shakespeare made by Royal Vienna in 1850. Part of a series of 200 famous people they made into these little figures around that time. He needs no introduction. Born in 1564 and died in 1616. The bust is nicely modeled in unglazed biscuit porcelain that sits on a glazed base with a bit of gold trim to it. His name is written in gold in the front. The figurine is in great condition with some wear to the gold trim and a tiny chip to the left edge near his collar point with another small flaw below that in the same area. Displays nicely! The figure is 4.375 inches tall, 2 inches wide and 1.875 inches deep. It is marked underneath with the impressed beehive / shield mark, the year mark 850 as well as the impressed number 34 as shown.
