Rozenburg Saucer

This is a superb saucer made by Rozenburg in the early 20th century - 1901 or 1902 if I figured it out correctly. Rozenburg eggshell "porcelain" was only made from about 1900 until 1914 and is about as Art Nouveau as you can get! It is called eggshell porcelain , but in fact it is very thin earthenware. They were situated in The Hague, Holland's seat of government. Their eggshell porcelain is amazingly thin and delicate unlike anything else you can find in the world of European porcelain! The saucer is hand painted with a superb floral design that fits the shape of the piece perfectly. The piece is in perfect condition which is not common at all due to the thinness of this porcelain. The piece is marked with the black Rozenburg den Haag mark with the stork in the middle as well as the usual artist and year marks, etc. The saucer is 0.375 inches tall and 4.375 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
