Russian Silver and Enamel Cross

This is a silver cross with enamel in the front made in Russia in 1871 I think or maybe 1821. The enamel scene is of Jesus's crucifixion. The detail of the painting is very good! On top of the cross is a blue glass stone where you'd affix the necklace. I think this would have been worn by an orthodox priest. The cross is in good condition with two cracks in the enamel - one parallel to the cross bar of the cross and one to the right of the cross. There is some wear or a firing issue going on to some of the enamel where it is rough and grey - hard to explain. The very top of the cross has some of it and then the white areas surrounding Jesus have some more as does the hill at the very bottom. The lines of the wear are clean in some areas against other colors so I am leaning towards a firing issue! It doesn't take away from this neat piece! The cross is marked in the back on the silver with the number 84 for Russian silver, an impressed St.Goerge slaying the dragon I believe stands for Moscow and another mark for the jeweler of A.C over 1871 (1821). The cross is of a nice size being 4.75 inches tall (including the blue glass piece) and 3.375 inches wide. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
