Schlaggenwald Superb Cup & Saucer #2

This is a really nice cup and saucer made made by Schlaggenwald in the early 19th century. Both pieces are hand painted with a superb floral arrangement coming out of a gold and pink urn / vase as well as lots of fancy gilding all around as shown. The cup has a nice snake shaped handle that is fully gilded and more gold trim to the inside of the cup as shown. One of the nicest piece I hahve ever seen by this maker! One can definitely see the French / Paris influence as well as that of Vienna on this piece. A very special set from this maker for sure. The cup and saucer are both in great condition with some minor wear to the gilding mostly to the edge of the saucer. The piece is marked with the under glaze blue script S. mark used before 1830 as well as an impressed V and script r type mark to the underside of the cup. The cup including the handle is 3 inches tall and 2.75 inches in diameter. The saucer is 1 inch tall and has a diameter of 3.375 inches. I also have the matching sugar dish, creamer and another cup and saucer if anyone is interested in a matching set. Please email me for more information or photos.
