Superb Schlaggenwald Sugar Dish

This is a really nice suagr dish with its original lid made made by Schlaggenwald in the early 19th century. It is hand painted with a superb floral arrangement coming out of a gold and pink urn / vase on the front as well as lots of fancy gilding all around as shown. Same gilding on the lid. One of the nicest piece I have ever seen by them! One can definitely see the French / Paris influence as well as that of Vienna on this piece. A very special piece from this maker for sure. The sugar dish is in great condition with some minor wear to the gilding mostly to the top edge of the main body where the gilding is gone quite a bit but otherwise is it almost perfect in that department as well. The piece is marked with the under glaze blue script S. mark used before 1830 as well as an impressed number 55. The piece including the finial is 4.625 inches tall and 3.75 inches in diameter. I also have the matching creamer and two cups and saucers if anyone is interested in a matching set. Please email me for more information or photos.
