Schlaggenwald Plate #1

This is a plate made by Schlaggenwald in the mid 19th century. Schlaggenwald was founded by Georg Paulus in 1793. The Greiners took it over around 1800 and in 1808 Lippert & Hass took it over from them. It was still around after 1945. The plate is handpainted with a very well painted pink flower that might be an anemone. The rim has a very detailed relief design of flowers and scrolls of which the very edge is highlighted in gold. The plate is in perfect condition with a little gold wear to the outer edge. It is marked with the impressed Lippert & Haas In Schlaggenwald mark as well as an impressed 3 and a gold ii/39. The plate is 1.25 inches tall and 7.5 inches in diameter. It matches the other plate I have on the website. Please email me for more information or photos.
