Frankenthal ? Coffee Pot

This is acoffee pot made most likely by Frankenthal according to a lady who really seemed to know her stuff. It dates to around 1770. The pot here is nicely hand painted with a puce strawflower design which is not easy to find by this maker. It is marked underneath with quite a few incised marks as well as inside the lid. The piece is 9.5 inches tall without the lid and about 11.5 inches with the lid. The pot has seen better days in terms of condition. The lid was in 6 pieces and the knob is replaced by a metal one. On the footring of the base a piece was broken off and has been cleanly reglued. A few small chips on the spout and a shallow chip to the top rim of the main body. I think a small piece is missing on the small puce cover of the spout as well. All in all just an interesting piece to learn from. Please email me for more information or photos!
