Japanese Blanc De Chine Figurine

This is a superb blanc de Chine figurine of a Japanese person made by the Schwarzburger Werkstaetten in the early 20th century when it was first designed. A very typical figurine for them in the style of the Art Nouveau Jugendstil period. It is an Asian man or possibly woman dressed in a fancy outfit wearing a hat and traditional wooden shoes. A stylized flower next to him / her on the base. The figure is full of movement and looks amazing. Lots of fine details to it - look at those well done fingers! The piece is in perfect condition and is 7.5 inches tall, 3.875 inches wide and 3 inches deep. It is marked with the blue fox mark as well as the impressed model number U603 over 3 underneath and also the the impressed stamp stating Schwarzburger Werkstaetten fuer Porzellankunst as shown.
