Nice 19thC Floral Plate

This is a great plate / soup bowl made by Sevres in the late 19th century. It is quite decorative being hand painted with a floral arrangement in the center, a few smaller floral arrangements on the rim with smaller flowers and tiny leaves filling in the rest of the rim. A superb leaf garland along the edge with a nice gold trim topping off a perfect plate :)No wonder they are the only real competition for Meissen except for KPM off course :) The plate displays perfectly but has a tight stable hairline to tthe rim as shown. It is marked underneath as shown with the green Sevres mark S.93 in an oval and the Dore a Sevres gilder's mark in red for 1895. There are also the usual incised marks as well as a painter's mark for Trager who painted flowers from 1887 until 1909. The plate is 1.625 inches tall and 9.5 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
