Amazing Floral Design Cup & Saucer

This is an amazing and very rare cup and saucer made by Sevres in 1842. It is one of the nicest sets one can own by them from this period! The set is superbly painted with flowers all along the rim with the rest filled in with a nice cobalt blue ground color with a gold design over that. The flowers are just superb. The shape of the cup is really nice with a superb handle. The inside of the cup is completely gilded and that is in top shape with almost no wear at all. One couldn't hope for a better cup and saucer it all comes together perfectly! The cup and saucer are in perfect condition. The saucer is 0.75 inches tall and 6 inches in diameter and the cup is 1.875 inches tall (plus the handle) and 3.75 inches in diameter (without the handle). Both pieces are marked underneath with the blue interlaced LP mark though it is hard to see on the cup. Date is 1842. Both also have painters marks, gilders marks and so on in red, green, gold and incised. These are the usual marking that authentic Sevres porcelain from this period should have.
