Superb Trembleuse Saucer

This is a superb trembleuse type saucer made by Sevres in the 18th century or to be more exact in 1777. It is hand painted with a superb rim design of roses on white ground and three scenes of flowers in a basket hanging by a bow on white ground. These scenes are surrounded by a gold leaf garland and the space in between are filled with these circles made of dots in blue with a red center dot. Gold trim to the edge and underside edges as well. It looks stunning! The piece is made of softpaste porcelain and the enamel colors are superb. This is what Sevres is all about! Sadly no cup but it looks great on its own! The saucer is in great condition with just some very minor chips to the bottom edge that sits on the table. They were filled in with gold color and that hides them almost perfectly. Again - a very minor issue! It is marked underneath with the interlaced blue L mark with a red Z in the center and a red fleur de lis type painter's mark plus another mark in blue and the hole in the foot ring for hanging in the firing process. The saucer just over 1.5 inches tall and 6 inches in diameter.
