Feuille de Choux Plate

This is a nice plate made by Sevres in the 18th century or to be more exact in about 1773. It is hand painted with the Feuille de Choux or Chou (I have seen it spelled both ways) pattern which includes three large floral arrangements as well as three small single flowers and that destinctive blue and gold trim on a raised design. Looks stunning and is not that easy to find in good condition. Their enamel colors and gilding is just superb. The plate is in amazing condition with some very minor wear. Looks stunning on display! It is marked underneath with the interlaced blue L mark with the U as the date code in the center. It is made of softpaste porcelain and has the hole for hanging in the kiln near the footring. There is also an artist mark though I cannot seem to identify it but I am certain the pieice was made and painted by them. The plate is 7.625 inches in diameter and 0.875 inches tall. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
