Floral Creamer

This is a rare creamer / milk jug / pot à lait à trois pieds made by Sevres in the 18th century. It is made of soft paste porcelain and hand painted with some very nice floral arrangements all around. The branch shaped handle has flowers in relief at the ends that are highlighted with gilding and the feet are highlighted with gilding as well. Very nice! This shape piece comes in different sizes and this one is the largest I believe. It is not marked underneath as shown with the interlaced L mark as well as the date letter F for 1758-1759 so a nice early piece just after the transfer from Vincennes to Sevres. This piece is in superb original condition with some minor wear and a tiny flaw to the top edge from the making (it was glazed and gilded over). Tried to show it in the photos. The piece is 4.625 inches tall, about 4.875 inches including the handle and spout and has a diameter of about 3.375 inches. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $749
