Godronnee Creamer

This is a really nice large creamer made by Sevres in 1840. The piece is decorated in the Godronnee design with a ribbed / reeded type of design to the outside with raised sections and gilding to the valleys between the raised parts. Gold trim to the edges as well as handle. It is a simple but very stunning looking decoration that one does not see often at all! The creamer is in great condition same as the day it was made but has a few issues. Some stray gold marks to the handle and to one spot on one side of the creamer and on the inside towards the top right by the lower handle terminal there is a large flaw to the paste. I couldn't get a picture of it due to its location. Obviously is does not show when on display. One spot of wear to the gilding on the handle. It's a great looking piece. Nice shape and decoration! It is marked underneath with just their typical incised marks as shown. The creamer is just over 7.5 inches tall including the handle, 4.5 inches from handle to spout and 4 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $399
