Godronnee Saucer

This is a nice saucer made by Sevres in 1857. The piece is decorated in the Godronnee design with a ribbed / reeded type of design to the rim with sections are sunk into the paste with the higher parts in between highlighted with gilding and a gold trim to the edge. It is a simple but very stunning looking decoration that one does not see often at all! The saucer is in perfect condition with just the slightest of wear to the gilding but it displays perfectly! It is marked underneath with the oval green mark S. 57 for 1857 with a cut line across it denoting it being a second choice piece. Also the usual incised marks as shown. The saucer is 0.75 inches tall and just under 5.5 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $99
