Interesting Saucer

This is an interesting saucer made by Sevres in the 18th century around 1770. The piece is made of hard paste porcelain and marked as such with a fairly rare mark of the interlaced double L with the crown above and the flower below only used on some of the hard paste pieces. Not sure why! The saucer It is hand painted with a superb design including floral arrangements highlighted with gilding, blue and gold bands as well as a pink band and more gilding. Quite the fancy design! The saucer is in great condition with some wear mostly to the gilding on the pink band and a minute outside edge chip as shown. The saucer is marked as mentioned above as well as with an incised F7 or something along those lines. It has the hole for hanging in the kiln near the foot rim as shown. The saucer is 1.125 inches tall and 4.875 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
