Large Sang du Boeuf Vase

This is a vase made by Sevres around 1930. It is covered with their famous and quite rare oxblood glaze in mostly red with the light bluish white coming through in areas. This is truly an amazing glaze! The vase is in perfect condition but it does have some crazing in the clear outer glaze which is quite normal on this type of glaze. It is marked underneath with the S over Sevres Manufacture Nationale France and the letter C. There are also quite a few incised marks underneath near the rim but I cannot make them out well. The bottom has a nice bronze or brass trim attached to it. The vase is rather large for an oxblood piece being 9.125 inches tall and 4 inches in diameter.
