Nicely Shaped Oxblood Vase

This is a nice vase made by Sevres around 1895. It is covered with one of their famous and quite rare oxblood glazes in mostly a purplish color with blue tones in between and some whiter colors coming through in some areas. This is truly an amazing glaze and one of my favorites plus no two pieces are ever the same! The vase is in perfect condition but it does have a bit of an issue near the foot where the glaze got too thick and bubbled a bit - this is from the making and does not matter much if at all (definitely not to me). It is marked underneath with the number 95 (or maybe 93) in an oval in green for the year 1895 (or 1893). Also a green H for the artist mark and the usual incised marks one finds on true Sevres pieces of this period! The vase is of a nice size for an oxblood piece being 8 inches tall and 4.5 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
