Sevres Rat Catcher Figurine

This is a great figurine made by Sevres in about 1765. It is made of biscuit porcelain (unglazed porcelain) and is of a rat catcher - a lady with a trap under her arm and a rodent by her feet. Not sure who made this model but it came with some other pieces by Falconet who might have made this piece as well. The figure is superbly modeled and left in the white and unglazed to show off all that detail. The figurine is in superb condition with a small piece of strap from the box having been restored very well in the back of her and two small chips to the base rim also in the back. Displays perfectly but could use a bit of a cleaning. The figure is unmarked which is normal on early Sevres pieces but a known model! She is 4.75 inches tall, 2.5 inches wide and 2.5 inches deep.
