Small Floral Cup

This is a cup and saucer made by Sevres during the 18th century in 1773/1774. This set is made of soft paste porcelain which just has a stunning warmth to it and the enamel colors are just stunning! Both peices are hand painted with some superb floral arrangements as well as some nice gold trim. They are both marked underneath with the interlaced L mark with the usual painter's marks and the date marks for 1773 and 1774. Each has the little hole from the firing process typical of Sevres and the saucer also has some incised marks as shown. The set is in superb condition with some very minor wear to the gilding on the edges. The cup is 1.875 inches tall and 2 inches in diameter. The saucer is 0.875 inches tall and 4.25 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
