Spode Cup & Saucer

This is a cup and saucer made by Spode in England around 1790. It is handpainted with a superb floral design on a golden background with some bugs here and there. Nice gold trim as well. The set is in perfect condition with a bit of gold wear around the saucer well but it is almost perfectly spaced to look like it was done on purpose and doesn't take away from the set. The cup is 2.375 inches tall and 3.75 inches in diameter. The saucer is 1.125 inches tall and 6 inches in diameter. The set is marked underneath in red with the word Spode in script used around 1790. Also an incised cross on the saucer and the number 4795 or so in red on the cup. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $249
