Spode Drain Dish

This is a Spode drain iInsert for a meat platter, in the Willow pattern. An impressive piece for the collector’s shelf, at 13 by 9 inches, and easily displayed. Dates to about 1800 to 1810. It is printed with the perennially popular Willow pattern showing lovers in an oriental garden. It is impressed Spode and also bears a printed mark plus numerals. The top surface is in excellent condition. The bottom rim has a few chips and there is light staining. This is a piece owned by a good friend of mine.
