Spode Neat Teapot

This is a Spode Oval Canister Teapot. Circa 1795. The oriental flair in the design of this expressive teapot is immediately apparent, and it begs to be held in the hand and admired. There is no maker’s mark, but the handle strongly suggests Spode and I have seen this pattern identified as Spode. Others would identify it as from one of the Coalport factories. Slight gilt wear, otherwise in wonderful condition. 5 and 3/4 inches high. This is a piece owned by a good friend of mine. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
