Spode Cup #4

This is a Spode coffee cup and saucer with brown classical swags of flowers. Although unmarked, the characteristic Spode handle lets us know the maker of this splendid set, and in addition this is a well-known Spode design. Even more attractive, it is in great shape except for slight gilt wear in the rim and handle. A feast for the eyes. Circa 1805. This is a piece owned by a good friend of mine.
