Prunus Blossom Vase #4

This is a superb small vase made of soft paste porcelain by St. Cloud of France in the early to mid 18th century. It is rare to find pieces like this but they have been identified as having been made by them. The vase is decorated with prunus branches with blossoms on both sides with the thickest part of the branch forming the handles. The softpaste is really white and looks amazing! The detail of the relief design is superb as well. Really does not get much better than this except maybe in size. This example is unmarked underneath but I do have a marked example as well. It is certainly a superb piece and in great condition with just one missing and two damaged little beads of the relief design on one side. Still displays superbly and is a rare example! The inside of the vase is unglazed except around the top. The vase is 4.5 inches tall, 2.125 inches deep and 2.75 inches wide. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $699
