Strasbourg Polychrome Scenic Dish

This is a rare dish / plate made by Hannong's Strassbourg factory in the mid 18th century probably an early piece as the decoration is reminiscent of faience which he made as well. I have rarely ever seen dishes by him and never a polychrome scenic piece so I was thrilled to have found it. The dish is nicely potted with an elegant shape to it with a purple trim to the edge. It has a large hand painted scene in the center of a person smoking a pipe in a landscape surrounding with four small floral arrangements in each lobe of the dish. The painting a bit naive but very charming! The dish is in great condition with a little bit of flaking to the edge trim but the porcelain itself has lots of flaws from the making and two chips to the foot ring underneath as shown. The piece is marked underneath with a under glaze Ph with two dots as shown. There are also three incised lines or an HI near the foot ring as shown. The dish is 1.375 inches tall and 8.25 inchesfrom side to side.  Please email me for more information or other pictures.
