Tettau Eyebath

This is a very rare eye bath made by Tettau in the 19th century. It is hand painted with the famous blue and white strawflower design. I don't think I have ever come across one of these by them so deifnitely an unusual find. Eye baths are very hard to find and never cheap whatsoever actually if you consider the size to price ratio these are probably some of the most expensive items out there :) The eyebath is in perfect condition with some manufacturing roughness around the foot and the usual firing flaws like inclusions and small firing spots one finds on their early wares. The piece is 2 inches tall, 2 inches wide and 1.375 inches deep. It is marked with the under glaze blue T mark as well as a number 20 which might stand for 1820 or might just be a blue painter's mark. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $599
